SPECIFICATIONS

Our Six Foot Smokey Bear is an impressive three-dimensional fella, weighing in around 225 pounds.  He's  manufactured of fiberglass around an inner steel frame that is welded to the base plate and internally bonded to the exterior fiberglass.

Each Smokey is then individually hand painted with 100% exterior acrylic paints, and then clear coated with a water-base, acrylic copolymer topcoat specially formulated to provide ultraviolet ray protection to painted surfaces. This clear coat is formulated especially for areas where resistance to the effects of long-term exposure to sunlight and weather is a requirement. This finish is a durable, flexible, weather-resistant finish. It helps prevent color degradation by reducing the effects of harmful ultraviolet rays, which cause premature fading. It should not yellow, oxidize, check or crack with age.

Each Smokey is uniquely numbered and "tagged" with an engraved brass plate.
